For 60 years, the Alliance for Women in Media has served as the voice and resource for women in the media. And for three decades, the Foundation of the Alliance for Women in Media has been a leader in celebrating and honoring programming that is created for women, by women and about women, as well as individuals who have made exemplary contributions to the industry. The Gracie Awards strive to encourage the realistic and faceted portrayal of women in entertainment, commercials, news, features and other programs. The Gracies Gala brings together industry luminaries, broadcasting and cable professionals, and students who gather to celebrate the outstanding achievements of their colleagues and peers.

As the Alliance for Women in Media celebrates our 60th Anniversary, our Foundation will be calling attention throughout the year to critical issues that continue to affect women in media today. Our one-day programs will include keynote speakers as well as power panels with leading media experts.
Symposia Sponsorship Information
The Alliance for Women in Media Foundation Symposium on Digital Literacy for Women & Girls will be followed by the release of a Special Report on Digital Literacy for Women & Girls. This digital publication will include an overview of the Chicago program, statistics on digital literacy, literacy programs and success stories, case studies, and a resource center.
Advertising in the report is available at $1500 for a full-page color ad. AWM's first digital publication - Special Report on Diversity, was recognized by Association Media & Publishing in June 2011 with a Silver EXCEL Award in Special Publications. The Digital Literacy Report promises to be yet another award-winning publication.
