Amy B. Lotz, CAE joined the Alliance for Women in Media in October 2002. Prior to being named AWM's executive vice president, Lotz served as the association's managing director, manager of membership services and also as its director of member programs. Throughout her tenure, Lotz has been integrally involved with the growth and development of several AWM pinnacle programs and activities, including the Gracie Awards, student initiatives and scholarships, member relations, and chapter growth strategies.

Lotz's nonprofit management expertise stems from her seven years with the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy in Falls Church, Virginia, where she served as the senior manager of membership and board programs.  Lotz also served as director of membership for AIDS Action, a nonprofit advocacy organization based in Washington, D.C.

Lotz earned an undergraduate degree from the University of Virginia, in Charlottesville, Virginia, and served as a docent in a Charlottesville art museum while completing her studies. She has been a member of the American Society of Association Executives for more than 10 years.
